Meghan Tcherkezian, a Charlotte native, creates work centered on color, texture, and form beyond realism. Her practice is rooted in the belief that art can function as an emotional language, shaped by personal experience and interpreted in deeply individual ways.
Meghan’s creativity and artistic journey began early in life.
“As a child, I spent a great deal of time with both of my grandmothers. Through their encouragement, I developed a deep appreciation for the arts. They fostered creativity in different ways—one through vivid storytelling and the other through an eye for composition, texture, and color.”
While formally trained, Meghan is most drawn to the intuitive nature of abstraction. Her process is meditative and material-driven, often incorporating a range of media and allowing each piece to evolve organically.
Outside the studio, Meghan enjoys life with her husband, Mark, their two children, and their beloved dog, Huxley
